We are a climate justice group based in Freiburg in the South of Germany. While fighting for a better world, we strive, in our processes, to embody the change which we wish to see. We are grass-roots democratic, try to be as non-hierarchical as possible, and organize demonstrations, direct actions and information events. Although our main focus is climate justice, we support and stand in solidarity with various struggles against oppression and discrimination, and the diversity of action forms that they choose.

The group EKiB Freiburg formed from a nationwide network called “Energiekämpfe in Bewegung” and is as the last of its kind still active.
